MIKE KING

Mike is in his fourth decade in youth ministry and serves as President/CEO of Youthfront, the Executive Editor of Immerse: A Journal of Faith, Life and Youth Ministry, and is an adjunct Professor at Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City.  His book Presence Centered Youth Ministry has received widespread critical acclaim.  Mike and his wife, Vicki, live in Blue Springs, Missouri, a suburb of Kansas City. DAVE WARD

Indiana Wesleyan University


Dave is Professor of Homiletics at Indiana Wesleyan University and has served as a pastor and youth evangelist. He holds a Ph.D. in practical theology (homiletics) from Princeton Theological Seminary.  He and his wife, Holly, have three children and live in Marion, Indiana.




ANDREW ZIRSCHKY

Center for Youth Ministry Training / Memphis Seminary


Andrew serves as the academic director of the Center for Youth Ministry Training and teaches youth ministry and practical theology at Memphis Theological Seminary.  He’s currently completing a Ph.D. at Princeton Seminary with a dissertation that looks at the impact of social technology on adolescent understandings of faith and community.  He is ordained in the Church of the Nazarene and served in full-time youth ministry for over a decade.  You can follow him on Twitter @ymprof.



JP VANDALSEM

Olathe College Church of the Nazarene


JP has been working in Youth Ministry since 2002. He currently is Pastor to Young Adults at College Church of the Nazarene in Olathe, KS. He earned his undergraduate degree from Southern Nazarene University in Theology and Ministry. He also holds an MA degree in Religion from Trevecca Nazarene University. He and his wife Traci have two young boys, Hawkins and Coulton. JP loves coaching soccer and any outdoor adventure he can find. 



DIETRICH KIRK

Center for Youth Ministry Training


"Deech" Kirk served as the youth minister of Brentwood United Methodist Church for six years before becoming the Executive Director of the Center for Youth Ministry Training in 2006. He is the author of Raising Teens in an Almost Christian World: A Parent’s Guide, and one of the co-authors of Now What? Next Steps in Your New Life with Christ.   When he is not leading CYMT, speaking at youth events, or training other youth workers, Deech enjoys spending time with his wife Keeley and daughters Carlisle and Hallie.



STEPHEN INGRAM

Author, Hollow Faith


Stephen has been working in youth ministry since 1998 and currently is the Director of Student Ministries at Canterbury United Methodist Church in Birmingham, AL where he has served since 2008.  Stephen is the author of Hollow Faith: How Andy Griffith, Facebook, and the American Dream Neutered the Gospel.  He has a B.A. from Samford University in Religion and New Testament and a Masters of Divinity from Mercer University’s McAfee School of Theology with a concentration in Theology.  In his free time Stephen loves to cook, blog and watch Alabama Football and the Atlanta Braves. 



TRAVIS GARNER

Brentwood United Methodist Church


Travis is a graduate of Lambuth University and Vanderbilt Divinity School. After serving churches in West Tennessee, Travis was Director of Youth Ministry at Calvary UMC in Nashville before coming to Brentwood UMC. He and his wife Amanda have two little boys. He enjoys spending time with family, cycling, reading, music, drinking coffee; and watching the Fighting Illini, the Cubs, & the Green Bay Packers.
